Vintage Rare La Belle Art Deco Joan Of Arc Spelter Clock and Lamp 1930 Very Nice. A rare find for an unusual clock and lamp combination which was patented in 1930. The Joan of Arc spelter base is common with the usual pedestal lamp configuration. However, the United Electric clock with two side lamps layout is found very rarely. The piece is in great shape with copper tones on the spelter and no chips or cracks noted as shown in the photographs.
The clock is also in working condition. The piece measures 18" tall by 4.5" wide and about 5.5 deep. There is a rotary switch for the lamps on the back of the case but the knob is missing.
So, I just loosen the bulbs to shut off the lamps when desired. The two neon flickering lamps are included as well as a copy of the patent application notice from 1930.
