With beautiful flower engraving and Leftovers of gold wash bell. This horns carries serial range #147xxxx. I don't see repairs or past damage on it and beside small wear spots around from age the lacquer on the body looks very good. All slides (except the part right by the leadpipe finger hook which has a screw tuner on the bottom) are coming out. My advice is not to force this part and leave it since front tuning is fine.
3rd slide has original working stopper and original ring. This horn has very good compression and all valves match serial # to the body of the horn. This horn has been just internally washed the home method with brushes, liquid soap to the best of my abilities and flushed with water??Leadpipe internally is very clean. This horn is a very good jazz player and plays with the full sound all over the range. I would say it is surely a rival of the #3 large bore Martin Committee but at the lower buck comparing with Committee. This horn can really play and maybe you will even like it more than a Committee. I don't see dings or dents.
Horn comes with original handy case which closes perfectly. The original handle can be fixed somehow on one side or easily totally replaced. Inside the case there are still original lyre and cleaning rod.
There is also a container for grease to which you can put a new grease or keep it empty as collectible. I was play testing it with my own mouthpiece and it sounded awesome. This is a great horn for a serious trumpet player and / or collector. Although the horn is not mint it is very good condition preserved vintage horn fully functional and ready to play.
