Rare Vintage Tiny Tears Betsy Wetsy Clone Tear Belle Belle Doll and Toy MIB
Belle Doll and Toy Corp. This very rare baby doll is made to do all of the things the popular Tiny Tears and Betsy Wetsy. She is 12 long with painted molded hair and working sleep eyes. Made of hard plastic and has holes for her tears, her body is a lighter weight plastic.
In her original clothing, blue and white top and bottoms with matching cap and booties. Box is a newborn layette that includes a small blanket, diaper, soap, rattle and pacifier. Wrist tag is still attached to her arm. The pacifier nipple has broken off but included in case it can be. Tear Belle's display box has an opening panel on the front with a cellophane window that is totally intact.
And she was obviously stored correctly because there is very little ageing to her box. The box is 14" X 11". X 4" and at the bottom there is a check mark beside the "Blue to indicate the color of her outfit.
The blanket and diaper had been stapled onto the insert but are now just loose. I have owned this doll for 18 years and in all my research have never come across another like her! She is sure to be as. Well loved as the popular dolls she was cloned after. She is the ultimate gift for the collector of Tiny Tears, Betsy Wetsy dolls.
