Rare Vintage 36 CLARABELL CLOWN Madame Alexander? Best large Clarabelle clown is approximately 36 inches tall not including her hair.
She comes to you and Fair to good condition with some tears in her clothing and spots etc. I have not removed the clothing or tried to clean it at all. The body seems to be in good condition or basically very good condition with the exception of the neck area by the left arm there is about a 2 inch rip at the same. Clarabelle needs some tender loving care and some cleaning.
I can tell you that she was kept in a home full of dolls and it was a non-smoking home, this is part of an estate. I believe her to be from the 1950s. The clowns clothing is a one piece silky material and the elastic around the wrist and ankles is compromised due to the age.
